I like to watch the winds blow.
To feel those chilling winds,
Howling in the nighttime, I say,
Whispering secrets in my ear,
The very same of the world,
How seasons change,
How hearts beat,
How fires are kindled,
How leaves fall,
How snow forms,
How flowers bloom,
How the sun burns.
They tell me why they're cold
Why they hunger,
Why they blow,
Why they carry leaves,
Why winter comes next,
Why everything's connected;
For that one purpose
A lofty purpose
A purpose that grows
Every time they blow.
This is my favorite season.
